Volunteers make our work possible!
From our inception, volunteers have played a crucial role in serving our clients. With a small staff of only six people, it’s our more than 250 volunteers who are on the front lines each and every day, delivering meals, providing well-being checks, visiting isolated seniors, and providing Mobile Meals with vision and direction.
You can join our volunteer team in a number of ways.
We are currently recruiting for:
Meal Delivery Drivers (assigned route and substitute drivers)
Deliver meals one day weekly, Monday through Friday. Drivers are scheduled a regular day and route if they can commit to driving weekly for at least one year. If a year feels like too long of a commitment, join us as a substitute to help an assigned driver when they need time off – a great opportunity for seasonal residents.
Those who speak Spanish and English, and those who want to serve the south and west sides are especially in demand. Please let us know if this is you!
Adopt-a-Route (Group Volunteer Opportunity)
Are you a community group, club, or business that wants to give back as a group? Volunteer as a group one or two days each week for three, six, nine or twelve months. You identify a site coordinator to work with our volunteer coordinator. Together we will train that person and your entire meal delivery team. Opportunities are available throughout Tucson, Vail, Sahuarita, Green Valley, and rural areas of Pima County.
Do you have a gift for public speaking, event coordination, fundraising, presentations, or online advertising? Join our Ambassadors Circle and help spread the word about our good work to people who can join us in supporting our mission.
Board of Directors
Love to govern, shape the vision and direction of an organization, and champion a cause? Then consider serving as a leader with Mobile Meals.
*Note, this program is currently adhering to all COVID prevention protocols, limiting all but absolutely necessary contact.
